UPDATE: STYLI STYLE PRODUCTS!

hey everyone! i've been browsing different Philippines based blogs and saw that a lot of you like the Styli-Style 24hour power line and seal. Sooooo, since we have a lot of Styli style products here in Saipan, i decided to sell them too! yey!! i actually love the styli style lip stain, it gets a little getting used to because it feels like your coloring your lips with a permanent marker, but HEY! it really stains well! I also tried the Browtint, it does stay put but you really have t get used to it. I'll be posting reviews and swatches and the pricelist in a few days!:D

Oooh.. i might also sell MAC products, since MAC is a lot cheaper here than in the Philippines and Japan and most states:D So watch out for it okay?

NYX Make up line

NYX products are really budget friendly, and they really have a nice line up too. Too bad we don't have them locally in the Philiippines, so I decided t sell them online!

I'm not yet in the Philippines, but i'm planning to be back by the end of May, so this will be like a Pre-order. I'll be posting the pricelist and some pictures in the following days. I hope you guys take your time to check out the products ok?

Here's some stuff about NYX products. (Taken from their Website NYXCOSMETICS.COM)

ABOUT NYX:

NYX was named after the ancient Greek goddess who ruled the night just like many of our fans who rule the night life in this modern techno-savvy world. We offer a wide variety of products ranging from eye shadows to foundation and brushes to eye lashes and glitter to glosses. Everything a professional makeup artist needs for the job or a goddess needs to create her look for a night on the town.

NYX originated and is headquartered in the heart of sunny Los Angeles. The cosmetics line was founded in 1999 by a young entrepreneur name Toni Ko. Ms. Ko has been involved in color cosmetics since she was a teenager and has always desired to create and share a line of cosmetics that provided quality products at approachable prices.

Here's the catch: NYX offers the best quality of cosmetics at attractive prices. Yes, that's right, you can splurge without guilt. This has made NYX the fastest growing cosmetic company in the United States. The ultramodern and stylish packaging fused with the huge selection of highly pigmented colors continues to catch the eyes of many hip and sophisticated makeup gurus and
has become a fave in their kits.

Love according to scientists

I got this from Readers Digest, circa 2005

Can Love Really Last A Lifetime?
Absolutely - but only if you chuck the fairy tale of living happily ever after. A team of scientists recently found that romantic love involves chemical changes in the brain that last 12 to 18 months. After that, you and your partner are on your own. Relationships require maintenance. Pay a visit to a nursing home if you want to see proof of lasting love. Recently I spoke to a man whose wife of 60 years was suffering from advanced Alzheimer's disease. He came to sit with her every day and hold her hand. "She's been my best friend since high school," he told me. "We made a promise to stick together." Now, that's a love story.

Fiipinos deserve Dick

5 days to go people! Have you made up your mind on who to support to become the 15th President of the Philippines?

First of all, i have to admit that i am not a Registered absentee voter. That sucks. Registration closed a few weeks before i got here, but NO, that won't stop me from giving support to my PRESIDENT.
Of all the Presidentiables, only ONE is highly qualified to lead and govern, and that is my PRESIDENT. DICK GORDON, yes he is arrogant, straight forward, cocky and temperamental at times but I BELIEVE in him. I Believe in him because of his track record, his platform and his love for the Philippines. He once divulged on air that after Estrada took him out as the SBMA chairman, he was offered a million dollar job a year in the UAE, but turned it down and focused on being chief of the Philippine Red Cross. This man is not running for money or eternal glory. He is running because he loves the Philippines and because he knows that the Filipinos deserve him as a PRESIDENT.

I am not blogging about this to convince all of you to vote for MY PRESIDENT, i am doing this to help our country. I want to open the eyes of Filipino voters. I am actually frustrated because of the fact that a lot of people are supporting other candidates just because of the candidates parents, because they want to empathize with him for his recent loss (IF WE VOTE FOR SOMEONE JUST BECAUSE WE PITY HIM, THEN THE WORLD WILL PITY US TOO), this certain candidate was not not interested to become the President of the Philippines before he lost his mom. I do not want someone who did not really aspire to become president of our country win this elections. I do not want someone who is desperate enough to bribe other presidentiables to back out win this elections. I do not want a guy who has been ousted by the Filipino people because of graft and corruption return to Malacanang. I do not want underqualified men to be my president.

DICK GORDON is not underqualified, he is the right man for the JOB. A lot of Filipinos are still too lazy and indifferent, we need DICK to push these people, "Bawal ang Tamad sa Pilipinas". We need Dick Gordon because has a track record to prove that he not only deserves the presidency, but that Filipinos deserve a president like him.

Dick Gordon has so many achievements to his name that I know I won't be able to write them all here. But i'm pretty sure that above all these achievements, one important thing is that he has made a HUGE difference in the lives of the FIlipino people.

Here's a helpful chart about the top 4 Presidentiables, please take time to read this.

Here's a few nice lines from DIck Gordons ROckED interview:

*“I want to raise you (the Philippines) up to the level I want you to be.”

*“You see when people vote, they choose the nice guy. The guy they feel they can talk to. They don’t vote for the tough guy who’ll get the job done.”

*“If we put in Kindle and buy 17M of those, we can bring the price down. We can put 9,000 books in it. The students will feel that I am important, my country loves me. You give the teachers P40,000/month, they will feel, “oh”, the best teachers will come.”

*“I like Braveheart because its very Filipino. May mga Ilustrados, Indios. I will tell you where I stand and I will never leave you…kahit lumulubog na ang barko.”

*“Surveys are paid for by people. You can have your own surveys. But don’t try to condition my mind. Its not a horse race. Singapore was biting the dust behind us. Now we’re biting the dust behind them.”

*“I like people who give back to the country. I do not like people who know what they do not want, but do not know what they want.”

*“I say no to people who ask me for money. I tell them gusto mo ba nakawan kita?”

*“I am not arrogant. I am only assertive. I am frank, candid, straight forward. I get the job done.”

*ON GAY RIGHTS: “They are people. They have the right to be gay.”

*“What this country needs is not a change of men, but a change in men. Do what you are supposed to do. We must do it together. The Filipino must be caring, compassion, competent, competitive, united, tolerant.”

*“A quality population is what we need. I would rather be responsible and not interfere. Work, save and invest.”

I hope this entry can open the eyes of other people on how to be responsible enough in choosing the man who will stand for OUR country.d. I am not insisting that you vote for my President, I am asking you to VOTE WISELY. (GORDON's the WISE CHOICE ;P)

>>>This entry is based on my personal thoughts and opinions. I do hope no one was offended. Spare me from any hate comments ok?

oh hello blogspot!

I have finally decided to create a blogspot account. I've been blogging through Multiply, Facebook and Tumblr for quite sometime and since BLOGSPOT (i think) is the pioneer in blogging sites, i finally gave in.:)

It's actually hard to decide on what kind of blog this will be. I usually just blog about random things, like recent issues, love, photography, music, movies, events, Nursing stuff, fashion and beauty trends. So i'll just be doing the same here, rants and raves, reviews and all that bloggy stuff. I might even repost old entries from my old blogs here!

I'm still fumbling with Blogspot stuff as of now but i know i'll get the hang of it. I'm actually excited about whatever feedback i'll be having from this account. SO, bye for now, i still need to explore the blogspot world:D
